Public Portal and Application
What the public portal is for
Every EventSale workspace has its own public portal under a tenant-specific URL such as:
/portal/<workspace-slug>
This public side is where visitors and creators:
- read the event presentation
- browse current and past rounds
- open the public team page
- submit creator applications
- open creator login
Public application entry
The most important public workflow is Apply as Designer.

The current EventSale flow uses a guided 5-step onboarding:
- Basic info
- Verify your code
- Store details
- Social media
- Creator password
How creator verification works
Step 2 is not optional when creator verification is enabled in workspace settings.
The applicant must:
- start the application
- receive the code through the in-world verification object
- enter the code in the public application flow
- continue to the remaining steps
This is how EventSale ties the creator account to a real avatar identity before review.
What the event team receives after submission
When the applicant finishes the form:
- the application enters Pending Review
- the operator can inspect it inside Applications
- the creator credential already exists, but creator portal access depends on approval
That means approval is the switch that turns a pending applicant into an active creator.
Public team page
The public Team page shows the visible managers for the workspace.

This page can expose:
- manager name
- public profile link
- online or offline status
- last heartbeat from the verification object
Use it when the tenant wants visitors and creators to know who is actively running the event.
What to tell new creators
When a creator asks how to enter the system, the shortest correct explanation is:
- open the tenant portal
- use Apply as Designer
- complete all 5 steps
- finish avatar verification
- wait for approval
- after approval, use Creator login
That explanation matches the current product behavior and avoids sending creators into the operator dashboard by mistake.
