Audience — Contacts

The Contacts page is your event's address book. It stores the Second Life avatars and other audience records that can receive marketing messages or be organized into segments.

Find and filter people

Use Search to find an avatar by avatar name, display name, UUID, or notes. Filter by segment narrows the list to one group. The table shows the contact state and the segments to which the person belongs. Use the page-size selector when you need to work through a larger list.

Open a contact to edit its notes or identity details. Use Manage segments to add or remove membership. Notes are for your event team; do not put passwords, payment secrets, or other sensitive information there.

Suppress, restore, and delete

Choose the exclude/suppress action when a person should not receive future marketing messages. Suppression is reversible: restore the contact when the person asks to hear from the event again. Existing suppressed recipients remain excluded even when a campaign is otherwise ready.

Delete is different. It removes the contact record and should be used only when the record is genuinely incorrect or must be removed. When in doubt, suppress instead of deleting.

Practical workflow

Keep the contact list clean, use segments to describe groups, and review suppressed contacts before launching a campaign. Audience records are separate from creator applications: deleting an audience contact does not delete a creator's application or submission history.
