Audience — Segments
Segments are named groups of contacts. They let you send one message to the right people without selecting every avatar manually.

System and custom segments
System segments are maintained by EventSale from workspace activity. They are useful because membership follows the system's rules. Do not try to use a system segment as a hand-maintained list.
Custom segments are owned by your event team. Give each one a name and a description that explains who belongs there, such as “Previous round shoppers” or “Creators who asked for reminders”. Add and remove members from Contacts, or manage membership when the segment page offers that action.
The member count helps you understand the size of a group before using it in a campaign. A segment with no members is valid, but a campaign sent to it will have nobody to contact.
Edit and delete
Edit a custom segment when its meaning changes. Delete only a custom segment that is no longer needed. Deleting a segment does not delete the contacts inside it; it only removes the grouping. System segments cannot be edited or deleted.
Use clear names and descriptions so another manager can choose the correct audience without guessing.
