The customer menu

The actions offered when someone touches a Vendor depend on the Product, Vendor settings, price and the customer's eligibility. Not every button appears on every Vendor.

Pay for a Product

  1. Inspect the Product and price shown on the Vendor.
  2. Use Second Life's Pay action.
  3. Choose the applicable amount and pay once.
  4. Wait for the item or configured service response.

If a group-specific amount is offered, the customer must have the required group active and the Vendor object must use that group. A membership discount does not automatically block customers who can buy at the regular price; Restrict to group members is a separate restriction.

RedeliveryStarts purchase recovery for an eligible Product. The customer must have an eligible purchase; a Demo alone is insufficient.
Info, License, VideoOpens an extra configured by the merchant.Only configured and available extras are offered.

Gift purchases

Start Gift before paying and read the recipient confirmation carefully. Complete payment while the gift selection remains valid. Changing the Vendor's Product or waiting beyond the offered quote can require choosing the gift again.

A gift is attributed to its buyer and recipient for the relevant purchase and recovery rules. See Store Credit for gift credit Products and Redelivery for recovery.

Coupon purchases

After entering the code, use the amount and time limit presented by the Vendor. Do not assume that an old quote is still valid after a Product, Event or promotion change. See Coupons for how the merchant configures eligibility and limits.

When there is no touch menu

The merchant may enable Disable touch dialog (pay directly). In that mode, customers use Pay directly. An authorized owner can still have a management action such as Set product.

An offline, sold-out or otherwise unavailable Vendor can also suppress purchase actions. Check the state before asking a customer to pay.

If the customer receives a refund

A payment that does not satisfy the current purchase rules can be rejected and refunded without an item delivery. Verify the customer's transaction history and the dashboard's refund confirmation before asking for another payment.
